Winter seems to like Dubai a lot this year and so keeps doubling back every few days to make its presence felt. Its putting such a damper on all the fun things that boys like to do, almost all of which begin with getting out of the house and into the sun. When the Shamal winds attacked us again last weekend after two days of crisp sunshine, I had a tough time convincing Neil that Sssshamal is not the name of a huge, dark monster that blows icy wind to scare kids.
Still, we had an impromptu picnic at Za'beel Park on Saturday. We packed our tent, some hotdogs and Neil's new bike and managed to kidnap Misha but Nishu chacha and Simpy chachi followed us all the way and caught us at the park. Both Neil and Misha seemed determined to pack in as much fun into the picnic as possible. One minute they were rolling in the grass and the other, they were both on top of the highest slide. Later, when Misha was busy having some slot machine rides, Neil rode his bike all around the huge play area and came back all drenched in sweat and pride. Neil and Misha had such a great time that on the way back we promised to do this more often in the next few months, or till the weather lets us.

Neil looks like a little stud on his bike :)
Rohan enjoyed looking at the photos. He kept touching the screen and smiling at it.
You are doing such a great job of describing Neil's activities. Keep them coming!
